  1. I wonder if there's a simple way to delete duplicate frames from game captures (FRAPS).

FRAPS often create duplicate frames when something chug the system. I currently use Premiere for authoring and I get rid of them manually by going frame by frame on each clip (they are 24fps so it relatively quick and it barely affect the sound).

I wonder if there's a soft or a way to do so in vDub that automatically detect the duplicate frames (and keep one!), by also cutting the sound part from the frame cut (to prevent de-syncing).

By "duplicate frames" you mean the screen capture continues at the normal speed, even when the action slows down, or stops, in the capture window?

  3. Neither of what you describe. I talk about editing the captured .avi file, not the capture itself. I often have duplicates of the same frame pictures. Rather than getting rid of them manually in Premiere, I want to get rid in an automated way.

The captured .avi file is not the capture itself?

Anyway, how do you know which ones are duplicates?
