  1. Hi,

I'm looking for a tool that can scan an mkv, and analyze the bitrate throughout the movie. I'm interested in the moments within the movie that the bitrate peaked.

I remember using (briefly) such a tool a couple of years ago. It might have been an avi and not mkv.

    anyone?

  2. It's probably Bitrate Viewer you want.

  3. just wondering: Why do you want such a thing? (normally people are more interested in the vbv values than the max bit-rate,...)

  4. It's an interesting thing to know when you stream the files over network and the bandwidth is limited.
Most of the time buffering will solve the issue, but it depends on the client or streamer.
