I have a bunch of MKV's I encoded with Handbrake using the High Profile Preset and my resulting MKV has one AC3 5.1 audio track.
I want to convert my mkvs to M4V's compatible with iTunes and my Apple TV while keeping the 5.1 and hopefully not re-encoding the video since that should be compatible.
I am using windows and tried a few tools and am able to convert to M4V and it converted the AC3 to AAC 2channel. From what I read I need AAC 2channel to be compatible with iTunes/Apple TV but can also have AC3 5.1.
What is an easy way to be able to accomplish this:
MKV with AC3 (5.1) converted to M4V with AAC 2CH & AC3 (5.1)
There seem to be a bunch of tools for the MAC and I was hoping to find something for windows that would let me batch convert my MANY mkv's
Thanks for any help you can give.
Scott
