Hey all,
Thanks to Apple's wonderful DRM, I can't play my paid-for videos on my Android tablet. There's some programs that allow you to remove the DRM. Sadly, these all seem to work by playing the video with iTunes and capturing the part of the screen where the video is playing. This means it records at '1 times' speed, and there's video (and audio) playing the whole time. Making it virtually impossible to use the computer for something else while 'converting'.
So, my question: is there a method for transcoding iTunes video without having to play the entire video on screen?
Any and all help is welcome!
Best regards,
Alexander.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

You need first to decrypt the iTunes files with Requiem:
You can find information about it here:
http://tag3ulp55xczs3pn.onion/cgi-bin/ssi/index.shtml
To visit this site, you need to use Tor:
https://www.torproject.org/index.html.en
Note that Requiem won't work if 64 bits Java is installed, it needs the 32 bits version.
Once decrypted, you can convert to anything you want using standard video tools. -
Thanks for the info!
I have downloaded one of the newer versions and it starts ok. However when I load one of my purchased videos it says it can't find the key and that I should play it on a ipod touch or ipad and try again.
I don't have any apple hardware players. I played the video for a few seconds in Itunes and then tried again but got the same message.
I am going to search the net for a bit and see if there is any way to get this to work without owning a physical i-device.
This would be great if I can get it to work without one. THis will be like the old days with those other stripper programs - can't remember the names at the moment but they worked just like this although they didn't require a playback with a portable hardware player first
Edit - I made the mistake of downloading the version that corresponded to the itunes version I have installed.
I downloaded the newest 3.3 version instead.
It started decrypting almost immediately!
And the best part is:
It worked! I can play the original m4v (well the decrypted copy of it) on my XBOX 360! It even shows the still thumbnail of the video file in the preview!
Holy crap! The good times are here again
