    i'm planning to buy the SAMSUNG BD-E8900 3D Blu-Ray Recorder, but i need it codefree due to my hundreds of region 1 dvds.
    so does anybody know a remote control hack to make it codefree for dvds ?

    Sony and Samsung players of all types are the most difficult in the world to be unlocked. Most cannot be unlocked. If you buy this player in Australia there is some chance, but you may need to contact Samsung's Australian support office to get help. If you buy this player anywhere else, the odds are probably 99% that you'll never be able to unlock it.

    I would not buy ANY players made by Samsung or Sony if I wanted them to be region free for DVD playback. Period.
