  1. I am newb. My wife wanted to transfer VHS tapes to DVD's for her Mom for Mother's day to play on their DVD player hooked up to their TV.

I purchased a Diamond One Touch Video Capture and I am able to transfer the VSH tapes to the DVD and play them on my PC. However, I cannot play them on a DVD player hooked up to the TV. What do I need to do.

    Thanks.

What format did you capture to? MPeg2? MPeg4? DVD requires MPeg2 (see what is DVD? above left).

What software did you use to make the DVD?

    DVD needs to be MPeg2.

I'm unfamiliar with EZGrabber or why the DVD it produces is unplayable. Try Diamond tech support or use a different DVD authoring program.
