I used AVS Video converter to convert my attached mp4 file to

    1. an avi file of 400-224 pixels and a fps of 30 - and -

    2. a mov file (Quick time "balanced quality with an mp3 audio)

The D830 just displays a "?" symbol for both of them. What are the D380's specific vido requirements and how can I convert to achieve them with my mp4 file (so I can finish my present for my mom!)

    Thank you.

  3. I have Any Video Converter 3.0.3 installed on my system. See if this 10 second clip works using the MotionJPEG codec.

Thank you so much to bat999 and to em-t-qwallitt. I used em-t-wallitt's recommended Any Video Converter software and chose parameters from the list of D380 parameters provided by bat99 and FINALLY I was able to successfully play my video file on the D830.

Thanks a million for your help! I really appreciate it!
