Things I know I can do:
- save files to internal hd and transfer when I am done filming for the day.
- save files to sd cards and transfer whenever I have a break.
- stream over hdmi to computer / capture card (creating one large file)
What I want to do:
I want to be able to stream a live video feed over hdmi to my computer, but at the same time be able to save "chopped" files on the computer at the same time, not just on the sd cards or internal memory.
Example:
I am shooting a live concert. As the live concert is going on, I am hitting the start/stop record button in between performances. During the concert I upload the saved files to youtube for "on demand" viewing but also showing it to a live audience.
Currently the only way I can think of to get the files to my computer are to swap out sd cards during breaks in the concert or to have the hdmi output split to another computer where a second person is cutting the video in real time. Preferably the second person would not need to do real time editing, they would just see files being created on their computer as I hit the record button.
I hope this makes sense and I look forward to any help.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
