  1. Not very technically minded. Have some dvd's of our children growing up & want to copy paticular scenes onto another dvd as a birthday surprise.
    Have downloaded Fab DVD8 but haven't the faintest idea where to go from there.
    Am using my laptop (only thing I have available) so need to copy on to harddisk & then somehow take scenes & put onto blank dvd.
    Any SIMPLE instructions & advice much appreciated.

  2. Use DVDShrink in re-author mode, use Start/End to select clips and save in separate folders. You can then use your favorite authoring program(such as DVDFlick) to import the clips and make a menu.

  3. thank you for that info. I've gone onto thhe dvdshrink and it would appear that it deletes the scenes chosen from the dvd whilst putting it somewhere else. I don't want to delete the scenes from the original dvd so how do i go about that?

    Nothing is deleted, only what is kept is what is chosen. These are "re-authored" into a new disc/discimage. Try again.
