    hello. good evening/morning/afternoon.

    anyway. i have this problem in my media player classic. i installed k-lite codec pack (w/ MPC-HC on it) because VLC plays my HD videos choppy. but my problem is that every time i play a video it makes not sound but a very big loud "toot" and the video playback is slow. please help asap.

    Uninstall klite codec pack and just use ffdshow and maybe lav filters.

    already did that never work. and klite has all the best codecs right including ffdshow and lav filters.

    What's your computer specs?Can't give more help till you post it,I would never use klite since it borks your system if not installed right,just install what Baldrick suggested.
