I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post. I just bought a used JVC HM-DH40000U, and it plays back D-VHS tapes just fine, however, it will not play back the video on standard tapes, just audio. It keeps popping up a screen that says "USE CLEANING CASSETTE" and flashes a "U:01" at the same time on the front control panel. The screen just shows black and white static, no color, or any discernible image, so I think there is something physically wrong with the heads. Does anyone have experience with unit or similar that may help diagnose it? I have not used a DVHS VCR before, so maybe there is something obvious that I am not doing correctly.
