Hi folks, I’m a newbie here. I was directed to this section with my dilemma, which is, I’ve been trying to rip dvds with handbrake but the transcode ripping stopped short. The movie has 161936 frames, but only 135073 were ripped. Anyone meet the same problem like this? Could anyone give me a heads up on this Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

    PS: I'm using 2.3GHz Mac mini (2GB of 1333MHz DDR3 memory)

Ripping= remove dvd protection from commercial movies. So you are converting with handbrake.

Have you ripped the dvd? With what then? You might have to try something else like dvdfab.

29.97 to 25 fps (at the same runtime) would reduce the total frames to 83.4%.
    Your numbers come suspiciously close.
Have you verified your framerates for input and output?
