I have looked everywhere and I can not find something that does this, then again I'm not entirely sure how to search for it.
Basically I'm looking for something that will let me scan an entire directory, make thumbnail sheets of each video (Storing somewhere else), and basically tying those thumbnail sheets to the actual video - so I can browse the thumbnail sheets, and say, press delete - and it deletes both the sheet and the original video.
It doesn't even really need to generate a thumbnail sheet, just a few thumbnails. I also say "Not movie or TV" because all the movie and TV organizers I've found so far, are only for movies or tv shows that are listed on imdb or another database. I don't want that, I want a content agnostic approach, I want it to work for random FRAPS videos, youtube videos, videos of birthday parties, videos of the moon landing - I don't know, all the same way - generate a thumbnail sheet and have an easy to navigate index of all the videos in the database.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Have you looked at TMPGEnc KARMA.
http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/tmkp.html#
There is a free version also. -
Thanks, I checked it out and it's just... Terrible. Do you know of any alternatives, or know of how I can go about finding them? I've been searching for 'video manager' and that doesn't really work. TMPGEnc Karma does a lot of what I need, but it's expensive and not at all worth the price for me.

Hello.
Have a look at Videonizer
http://videonizer-soft.com/
It supports screenlists (thumbnail sheets).
Feel free to ask any questions.Last edited by ScorpBY; 16th Jun 2014 at 05:36.

Windows Explorer in Extra Large Icons mode doesn't create thumbnails sheets. In all honesty, and though I am biased, LOL, there is no program as powerful as Vee-Hive for managing MANY thousands of videos with MANY hundreds of tags, as Vee-Hive. And no other program that will allow you to find files faster. You just start with a simple search and then refine it via its built-in filters in order to remove unwanted results or focus more intently on more specific sets of files. Plus you can create custom menus in order to process files via other video-related software that you may have installed. And, of course, you can create story boards/contact sheets. You can even do all this on your TV via a remote control if you have one.

I would argue that Fast video cataloger ( http://www.VideoCataloger.com ) is just as good ( well, I Think its better but thats might be becuase I am the author. Kind of allowed me to create the program as I wanted it to work, I guess the same goes for Phil )
I would recommend that you download and test both of the programs and see what you prefer. The software packages solves you issue, Vee-Hive is the cheaper of the two but you can evaluate them both for free. -
