    What is it with h.264? Why is it so difficult to trim?

    What have you tried?

    Latest avidemux 2.6 betas might work.

    Tried the latest (2.5.6) and the audio still becomes out of sync.

    Good catch and thank you! The latest beta seems to work with the current h264 I'm trimming.
