Hi
A friend give me a copy of a blu ray on a hard disk (in the form of a 3 folder configuration : ANY! / BDMV / Certificate)
Is it possible to read it with a Western Digital TV Live and How
Thanks a lot for your answers
Regards
M
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

most movies are in one stream , just go to BDMV/STREAM folder, share that folder, and play the biggest one over LAN, or just play that biggest m2ts localy .... WDTV LIve will play those all right (except with True HD no audio , you are out of luck) , you can choose any audio or subtitles if there are present

There are plenty of movies that will fail with that approach. With the latest patches, I'm pretty sure TrueHD works fine now as do native subtitles.

Yes I use ClownBD to make makes extra AC3 if there is TrueHD. It also can join those streams into one piece. I did not encounter any BD so far with stream not being in one piece, would you believe that? I do not watch latest blockbusters etc, so maybe that's why.
We do not know what WDTV Live we are talking about here, did not know that latest WDTV Live already handles True HD, are you talking about firmware upgrade ? I have early model WDTV Live plus. -
I'm a glutton for punishment and nearly always accept a firmware upgrade if it's available for my WDTV Live (the model just before the one that first supported Netflix, Live+ I believe). I don't use Netflix and that's the only reason I'd see moving to the Live+ or better.

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon w/ TruHD seems to work just fine.
