  1. I'm trying to convert a 10 second video from .avi to .mov. It says it is successful, however the output file is 0 kb, and quicktime will not open it. I looked into the process log, and I am lost as to how to fix it. Thank you for any advice.

    Here is the log:

It appears you a trying to convert a movie with just video (no audio) to a format that has both video and audio set. [One stream -> Two streams]
If your source file has indeed just video and no audio, then the solution is to de-select the Encode audio checkbox in the Audio tab.

I recently had files that were .MOV but I had no way of playing them (not compatible with Windows media player). I looked online and found they were compatible with Quicktime, so I downloaded Quicktime and now the video files are all showing as 0kB... Are they gone forever? I can't even open Quicktime to look there.
I am in desperate need of help with this!
