  1. Hey guys,
I'm looking for a good video encoder for converting xvids, avis and all kinds of other formats to DVD.
I read that Cinema Craft Encoder Sp 2.67.00.27 is the right thing to use as an encoder. I tried the trial version and was very happy with the result. To my eyes it looked lossless.

Does anyone know where I can buy this specific version? I read that it is very stable and I don't think a HD version would make sense for my purpose. let me know
    thanks
    all the best

HC Encoder is also very good and FREE! Use it with avstodvd. And for sources that are already heavily compressed like avi xvid doesn't the encoder matter that much.
