  1. Trying to render a 2 minute video (with quite a lot of clips). I'm on the latest build of Vegas and it crashes as soon as I start rendering.

    Here's the error message.

    I have had a problem rendering with large videos before (freezes at about 8%...) but thought the latest build had fixed this. Apparently not.

    Have you tried output with different video and audio codecs and see if it makes any difference?

    As alluded to above, their deflault settings are way off. Make a custom setting and save it.

    An "Unmanaged Exception" means something non-Vegas related.

    Are you a dinkerer? If so, go back to the last thing you dinked with and undo it.

    more likely vegas tried to access some memory that wasn't allocated to it. some vegas 10 users had that problem with dynamic ram preview and could only use v10 when it was set to 0.
