  1. Hey. I'm still a noob.

I'm trying to convert to avi so i can view it on my dvd player. I've tried mp4cam2avi but the mp4 contains h264 video so it cannot work. I've tried Xvid4psp 6.001 (the one i'm familiar with) but i'm using a new comp now and suddenly i can't even open the video file in the damn thing. It just says access to path Q is denied.
I don't care about the size, it can go over 2 gb for all i care and my mp4 file is only 500mb. Is there an easy to use program with easy to use options? Just click lossless and convert, something like that?

    Lossless avi will be HUGE.

But I guess you want avi with for divx/xvid in very good quality. Try for example winff, use the avi xvid hardware profile.
