Hi, yesterday I was testing MPC-HC to load .ssa/.ass subtitles, everything was OK but then, after uninstalling the VSFilter, everytime I try to open a movie with a ass/ssa script with a karaoke, explorer.exe start to increase his memory usage, frozing the PC, and then crashing.
But it happen with all the media players I have tested (VLC, MPC, MPC-HC, SMPlayer)
Curiosly, I tried to move the subtitle to another video (from avi to mpeg) and it loads fine, so I thought it could be the VSFilter or the Haali Media Splitter, but uninstalling both of them does not solve the problem.

    System:
    Windows XP SP3
    latest version of VLC/MPC/VSFilter/HaaliMS

VLC and SMplayer doesn't use any external filters so it's probably the windows explorer preview that causes some problem. You can try disable it, google for disable windows explorer preview windows xp.
