  1. hi
    i tried everything and followed all the things in the instructions
    but nothing is working with my Sony MHC-GNZ7D
    my dvd player read dvd divx, that's what written in the manuel
    but when i put divx, nothing
    it only plays dvd

    I need your help

    one of those all in one things with speakers? they are about 6 years old and never played divx files.

    Oh My God if what you say is true, that's a big problem for me
    all my plans are gone
    I wanted to watch facebook and youtube videos
    Is there another format i can use with this to play it ?

    Post a media info of a divx file that won't play,might need to be re-encoded if isnt within spec.

    If all else fails, you can try to create a DVD-Video disc from the videos using programs like AVS2DVD, DVD Flick, or FAVC (or for the shareware/commercial route, ConvertX2DVD).
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

    Page 41 of the .pdf manual has some information that may be useful. It says:

    Only the version of your home theater system sold in Russia can play DivX files.
    The maximum resolution allowed is 720x576.
    The maximum file size allowed is 2GB.
    Files with more than 3 hours of video may not play.
    Files made by joining two or more DivX video files may not play.
    Some DivX files may play with poor video and audio quality.

    i don't have a dvd writer
    can i convert it to VCD
    can you please help me with that
    i hear about it but don't know what is VCD actually
