    lampherem,

You're wasting your time and effort with Windows Movie Maker. It's a featureless, useless, confusing Windows utility in Microsoft's attempt to be all things to all people.

If your getting into video editing you're going to want to do more than Windows Movie Maker can achieve.

I would recommend VideoStudio 6.0 at www.ulead.com, it's not freeware about $100.00. If you browse and read this site many of the posts are regarding the same problems with the same software over and over and over again. You can do yourself a favor by starting out with a "real" video editing program. It will save you countless hours of frustration.

    Just my opinion.

    Good luck,

  4. have to say i disagree with other posts(if you only want to make a simple vcd movie in ok quality)im using win tv card with the booktree capture driver and ok the capture runs 30fps and 320-240 display ,which has to be converted , but on the up side little or no block noise, and no running out of hard drive. only good for vcd though
