Any idea how to download the video? What would be my download URL - till .csmil or the whole string?

For Windows, I find Replay Media Catcher 5 is the easiest to capture and convert f4f streaming video files.
It does the stitching of the fragmented files automatically. No php tool required.
It's not freeware, (not expensive either) but there is a 'crippled' trial version that lets you try it to make sure it works with your browser/system before you buy.

Right now they've got a special for the premium version Replay Capture Suite, so it is not much more expensive than the standalone Catcher.

I was wondering if anyone can help me? I want to download a video from this website: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/sunday-brunch/on-demand/60885-005

I've managed to get the manifest file as well as all the .f4f files (using Grab Any Media) but I have a problem when it comes to joining them

I then tried KSV scripts and ranKSV Adobe HDS Downloader (running the manifest file) which gives me this:

I have two urls for manifest files (f4m)

I can download the first one with livestreamer but not the second. I can see that there is some difference in the format of the urls but I don't understand what the implications are. Can someone explain why the second download doesn't work for me and if it's possible to do it with another utility or different syntax with livestreamer ?

The other question is what do you do when you can't find the manifest file ?

How the heck did you manage to derive that very long string ? I don't know where to get the stuff in red or even the proper manifest url and I'd like to be able to figure out some more for myself.
Also, are you able to do anything with the second 9jumpin link. The original video is here
