  1. Alright, so here's the situation.

    I'm trying to setup a stream for console (originally a PC gamer when streaming).

    The setup I'm currently using is the following...

    a XBOX 360 hooked up to one of these ( https://forum.videohelp.com/attachments/2901-1280597670/xbox%20360%20to%20VGA%20and%20microphone.jpg ) a XBOX 360 -> VGA connector(monitor is a 20" acer 1600x900 max res VGA monitor).

    The audio splitter are connected and is plugged into my PC so i'm able to use skype/mumble or whatever I need while I have in-game sound.

    The thing I need to figure out now is video, assuming that my sound setup is useable for streaming.

    I'm a bit lost and after doing some reading I still came to the same conclusion of @_@??? perhaps someone more knowledgeable regarding video capturing with video games could help? Thanks!

    If you're wanting to record your audio commentary in real-time, how are you planning to do that?

    What's your budget here? AVerMedia has a new card called the Game Broadcaster HD that's supposed to be available by the end of the month. It is currently listed on Amazon for $155 (with no stock).

    You would likely need to pair it with a VGA splitter to avoid lag. Powered/amplified splitters are always preferred; can probably swing one for around $25 online.
