    Hey

I'm the new guy, so I don't know a whole lot about this stuff, but I'm, trying and I',m learning.

I have a few films that consist of 2 iso-files and I would like to merge them, so each of them consist of 1 file.

Is this possible without to much hassle?

    Thanks

    hi. welcome to the forum!

it depends on what is in the iso files. first you would need to extract the videos with something like isobuster or winrar. then post a description of what they are. or use mediainfo on the new files and copy/paste it's text output.

As mentioned above depends on what they are. If they are a DVD ISO a good and easy place to start might be with DVD shrink. It is a readily avail and free program. Without any effort it will accept DVD ISOs and it has the ability to accumulate them into I file.

    Hey

Sorry I've been outa town for at few days.

I have some old movies that are on 2 dvds each.

Example: Ben Hur from 1959 - 2 dvds

At the end of dvd 1 you get a sign saying "INTERMISSION" as it did in Movie Theaters back then (yes, I'm that old)

Dvd 2 begins with "ENTR'ACTE" (French for "between the acts") and then then 2nd part of the movie rolls.

I can esasily maually do this on my Popcorn Hour A-300. But I would very much like to make a seamless merge.

Is this enough info for you to help me, please.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately the movies I have left won't work with DVD shrink:

"DVD Shrink encountered an error an cannot continue.
    Invalid navigation structure"

    Thanks anyway.

Maybe you have to use fixvts to be able to open it in dvd shrink...you have to extract the iso first though.

I don't know any other dvd-video iso joiner.

FIXTVS works like a charm. After running the dvd through fixtvs I can use DVD Shrink.

    Thanks a whole bunch.
