  1. Hi there,

I just bought a new Samsung pn64d550 3D TV. I downloaded a 3d Movie in .mkv format. When I play the move on the TV from my computer, I see my TV screen split in identical screens. I used Active glasses that came with the TV but still I see the image split in 2 screen. Did I download a movie in a format that is not compatible with my TV?

Do I need to convert the .mkv file in some other format?

When I see the 3D movie that I bought from store it looks fine.

    Thanks a bunch.

rtfm? push the remote 3d button, select side-by-side.

    3d movie bought at store = 3d blu-ray = consumer standard = automatic compatibility, automatic 3d engagement.

downloaded 3d mkv = one of many (incompatible) formats that require manual setup/3d engagement.

what aedipuss said is right (though I'm trying to imply it a little kinder)...
