  1. Hello everyone,

First off i am quite bad with media stuff though i am computer gammer/tech and junior net admin, so that does the basics of my video editing and understanding.

The whole problem is with this file that i have is 151mb that i am trying to restore. What basically happened while back.

1: I Recorded the video using my HTC HD2 Mobile (winmo).
2: As i saved it and copied to my pc without a problem safely and smoothly, it copied.
3: WHEN i tried to read/play the video it doesn't read the video at all and give me some hectic problem i've been trying to deal with it but couldn't i tried almost everything perl method for fix header went through almost lots of software that are available free and some paid ones but nothing helped.

So i thought should try some professional level help as i couldn't find anyone else beside videohelp community.

I could open the video but can't read in vlc or media classic player and tried lots of other players none play it just give me this error.

    Try this repair tool.
    https://www.videohelp.com/tools/Video-Repair-Tool

With this tool you feed it both a good video (from the same device) and the bad video.
It uses the good video to help reconstruct the bad.

It's not free, but there is a demo mode which should show you whether it's going to work.

This one seems to work a little with the video it just show the video but just like very fast fwd only 5 seconds in total length.

is there something as such that might fix this issue?

thanks for your help guys and sorry for late reply because of holidays

Post the problem video and the good sample at a hosting site (mediafire.com or similar)
put the URL's in here, and I'll take a look.

No trick really. Look at the corrupt video with a hex editor and try to evaluate by eye, whether it's valid data or not.
Look at the header and compare to the good,etc,etc...
