I have a Panasonic HD camcorder. When it saves the files in MTS format, 1080 quality, the files are split up into 4 GB files. I currently use handbrake to compress the MTS files to .mkv or mp4 to save my home videos. Instead of converting multiple files in handbrake Iwould like to only use one. Thus, I would like to merge multiple MTS files into 1 big MTS file then use handbrake to convert it to a lesser bitrate to save space. For example, my daughter had a piano recital. It was 1 hour long and I got 3 4GB files that I want to merge into one. With this one file I will run it in handbrake to compress.
