  2. The best codec pack is no codec pack. Install only the file readers, splitters, and codecs you need.

    Quicksync is a mediocre encoder.

    http://www.behardware.com/articles/828-27/h-264-encoding-cpu-vs-gpu-nvidia-cuda-amd-st...-and-x264.html

x264 with the veryfast preset is faster and better quality than Quicksync if you have a quad core CPU.

Yeah, that's fine. K-Lite's been around for years.

Really? For every possible container and codec you might want to use as a source or encode to?

If you have to ask what "codec pack" to use with a professional NLE like Edius, you've probably just pirated it instead of buying it. No sane Edius user would sully his or her system with random codecs from any "pack".

Installing K-lite is about as crazy as purposely installing a trojan, worm, virus or similar exploit.

It's just going to screw up your system.

  10. For all the profiles, visible on pic posted or not, Edius has built-in codecs.

    Folks,
I need a little help with Edius 6.05.
Can any one show me in which menu or where I can enter License Serial Number?
