dvd to vhs recorders and vice versa

Hi All!
I'm new here to the forum and pretty glad I found it!
I have a question for the experts I'm trying to find a machine that will allow me to record from dvd to vhs and vhs to dvd, I also need it to be able to record in PAL and NTSC...is there such a machine? I would need to be able to send tapes to the US.
I looked at a Panasonic DMR EZ49 but I'm pretty sure that's just PAL?

I hope somebody can offer some advice, I'm pulling my hair out

You do not say where you are from but.....

Most vhs/dvd recorder combos only record in one system beit PAL or NTSC. Some tme ago, there were some machines sold by Philips that could record NTSC tapes on to PAL disks using the PAL60 system.

No combo will do multi-standard as you hope. If they did, half the topics in these forums would be redundant.
