    What exactly is a Media Center anyway?? I always thought of it as a compilation of my HDTV, Receiver, DVD player, Blu Ray player, VHS player, DVD burner etc. all together in one place (say the family room or TV room).

    VideoHelp members tend to use the term to mean a single device capable of playing several different kinds of media. The forum description is:
    Everything about Home Theatre PC's (HTPC), Media Centers like PopCorn Hour, Western Digital. Also other Media Centers and streaming media to XboX 360, PS3, etc.
