    I have about 16 video clips in a format with the extension .MOD, I need to make them into just one video file in sequence without or with very little gaps in between them, is that possible please?

    I would probably try videoredo. It's one of the best mpeg2 editors.

    Yeah but my files are .MOD or WMV, would that software work?

    I used the trial version of Cyberlink Power Producer to combine all files to both .avi and .mpg, last thing now is to upload to youtube

    MPEGStreamclip will open MOD files
