    avidemux, open avi, under video and audio choose copy, use the start and stop-buttons to select the middle episode, press delete, save as a new avi.

    You can also use solveigmm avi trimmer and virtualdub to cut lossless.

  5. Using VirtualDub:

    1) File -> Open Video File
    2) Video -> Direct Stream Copy
    3) Mark-in*, mark-out**, Edit -> Cut, repeat if you want to cut more than one section.
    4) File -> Save as AVI.

    Note that in Direct Stream Copy mode VirtualDub will only cut on keyframes (marked with a [K] in the status line). If you want frame accurate cutting you have to use Smart Rendering and Full Processing mode, and you have to set up the compression codec to match your source.

    * Mark-in = Edit -> Set Selection Start
    ** Mark-out = Edit -> Set Selection End

    It's the opposite of cutting out a section in the middle. You cut out the sections at the start and end -- leaving only the middle. Or you can just mark the section you want to keep and Save as AVI.

    Virtualdub doesn't change the sound, assuming you had audio (at the top) set to "direct stream copy"
    What do you mean by "terrible"?

    use another recomended software "avidemux_2.5_r7200_win32.exe"

    problem with sound again.

    maybe it is because of "vbr audio" ?
