I want to compress my movies with VirtualDub, i hv the latest ver.
FYI, vlc and combined community codec pack (CCP) are also installed, both the latest.

So, I start VirtualDub, open the video compression option, choose ffdshow video codec.

However, upon configuration, I could not find h264/avc option.

It should have h264 option, shouldn't it?

What went wrong here? ANy suggestion would be very appreciated.
    Thanks!

You might try installing x264 VFW Codec. It works for me in the 32bit W7 with VD. There is also a 64bit version.
