    Hi am new here, and pretty much a noob to video editing

    I have some AVI files that have been captured through a Matrox RTX2 system into a Matrox AVI format

    Would it be possible to get this footage into Adobe Premier Pro CS5 without any additional hardware? Will it import directly? or will I need a special codec/converter?

    If it makes a difference, the footage was shot in 1280x720p at 50fps
