I have just ripped a blu-ray movie and converted to mkv using mkvmergeGUI. When play back with vlc and on my acryan playonHD h/w device, the audio is about 2 - 4 secs out of sync with the video. I have selected format specific options and delayed the audio file 3000ms in mkvmerge, which did not work.
BTW: The BD movie was just released 14/9/11 and has 6 movies in a box set. I am a nood and not sure if I should name the movies.
Any help is appreciated, Thx.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

How did you rip? Something must have gone wrong. (If downloaded then just trash them.)

Was your process similar to this? http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides/blu-ray-rip/256-remux-blu-ray-to-mkv
An additional point (not mentioned in the above guide) is to set the compression to 'none' under 'extra options' within mkvmerge.
