  1. I have just ripped a blu-ray movie and converted to mkv using mkvmergeGUI. When play back with vlc and on my acryan playonHD h/w device, the audio is about 2 - 4 secs out of sync with the video. I have selected format specific options and delayed the audio file 3000ms in mkvmerge, which did not work.

BTW: The BD movie was just released 14/9/11 and has 6 movies in a box set. I am a nood and not sure if I should name the movies.

    Any help is appreciated, Thx.

How did you rip? Something must have gone wrong. (If downloaded then just trash them.)

Was your process similar to this? http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides/blu-ray-rip/256-remux-blu-ray-to-mkv

An additional point (not mentioned in the above guide) is to set the compression to 'none' under 'extra options' within mkvmerge.

Yes, the process is similar to the guide u sent me, thegeeman. I do select 'none' under compression in options tab.

Maybe you could try makemkv, it will rip and create a lossless mkv.
