    i want to rip dvd to

    Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec
    Format profile : High@L5.1

    using handbrake or any nother software

    can any body tell me

    not used as high@5.1 is 1920x1080 or higher. dvd is 720x480or576.

    =*Display Aspect ratio : 2.35 =*
    *=Frame rate : 25.000 fps

    please tell how to encode in this atleast

    any h264 encoder. vidcoder, mediacoder, handbrake, etc... the main level is all that's needed for dvd, but you could set it as high as you want. bigger filesizes and not everything will be able to play it back.

    Actually, the process of 'ripping' is merely copying what's on the DVD (almost) exactly, minus the protection. So, by ripping you'll always have the exact quality as what's on the DVD.

    What you're asking about doing is ripping and then converting the video(s) - or basically, upconverting, to some extent, I believe.
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

    Depends on the DVD. There is no single number. Usually somewhere between 1600 - 2600 kbps with a two pass encode.

    Better option is to do a Quality based encode and not worry about the file size,
