What's suitable for and will fit my HP Pavilion Elite HPE-510t PC?
I still capture from mini dv tape from a Canon XH-A1.
HP specs describes the part as a:
"1394 PCI express x 1 expansion card"
What does the x 1 stand for?
Please explain. Any enlightment is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for joining the discussion.
If I may ask, do you have any specific recommendations?
Do I need a low profile card and/or one with a TI chipset?
I had a friend of mine open it up some time back to install a hard drive and some memory. There looked to be very little room inside.
How do I know one way or the other? trial and error?
Start with the low profile card?
