aimersoft best settings for m4v to avi

hi

i use aimersoft to convert my m4v to avi so that i can play them on mine dvd player

i want to make a perfect conversion with sim quality but havent managed it
something is always off


the avi's have to 720 x 480 max otherwise mine dvd player wont play them

is there a way to convert the m4v to 720 x 480 avi with the same quality

i am still learing to use aimersoft i would appreciate any advise on setting ect
so i can make same quality avi's from m4v

"avi" is the name of a container. it can hold many different types of video. i assume you mean divx? as in you have a dixv capable dvd player?

if you have m4v videos, where did they come from? most likely they have already been re-encoded from something else into a iThing format? re-encoding them again is only going to make them look worse.

post the mediainfo from one of the m4v. it's free, set it to the text output and copy and paste it here.
