  1. I have hp media center computer. I tried connecting my old tv to the computer using the rca cables and tried following the manual guide but for some reasons i cant get the signals on the tv. Can any one help me out?

  2. What resolution is your monitor running at? The composite (RCA) output is often limited to lower resolutions -- like 1024x768 or 1280x1024. And keep in mind the RCA output has a resolution equivalent to about 640x480. So a higher resolution desktop will be downscaled and fuzzy. See the samples in this post:

    Connect all the cables with the computer off. Turn on the TV, then turn on the computer. The computer may automatically detect the TV.
