  1. Hi,

    For some reason, one of the videos I shot with my phone is unplayable on my computer. Even stranger is the fact that it plays perfectly fine on the phone itself. In any case, after trying some different players I had to conclude that the file is probably corrupt.

    First I tried a few demuxing tools like mkvmerge and mp4box to see if I'd be able to remux the file. Unfortunately the file couldn't be opened. Then I tried to find tool that would be able to repair the file. I tried 'All Media Fixer' and 'Digital Media Recovery' but they didn't work. Finally I found Video Repair Tool and it proved to be a great tool. The video was repaired and worked flawlessly. But... it is a demo version meaning that the video is cut in half (the license is $40).

    Although I know now that the video can be fixed, I haven't been able to find a way to do it freely...
