Hey guys, I'm new here and don't know too much about Blu-ray ripping. I was wondering how can I take an MKV video file that is 7.92gb and convert it to a DVD9 disc without losing video/audio quality and play and watch it on my Blu ray player? thanks

Try MultiAVCHD. I believe you can use that to create a VideoDVD structure, and/or also use it to create an AVCHD structure from the MKV, if your BD player supports it. Note that converting to DVD will probably still be a bit of a drop in quality (HD to SD).
