I am trying to make Microsoft Home Publishing 2000 work on Windows 7.
It worked on Windows 98 and Windows Xp, but I can not get it to work on Windows 7. It opens, but the screen has nothing on it, just the"File and Help" in upper left corner.
I love this program and use it for a multitude of things. I am lost without it.
I went to the After Dawn forum and someone told me to try "CorFlags" to make it work. I tried this and got the attached error message. The person from the After Dawn forum, then told me to come to this forum for help.

    This is my system:

    Computer: HP Pavilion P6774y PC
OS: Windows 7 Premium 64 Service Pack 1
    Processor:AMD Phenom (tm) II X 4 840 T Processor 2.90 GHz
    Ram: 6GB
free disc space is 776 GB of 918 GB
    Router is Cisco (Linksys)
Anti-virus program is: AVG Internet Security 2011

I would really appreciate any help anyone can give me PLEASE.
    Thank you.

  3. Have you tried Win98 or XP compatibility mode? You could use a virtual machine like VirtualBox or VMWare to run WinXP or Win98. You'll need install discs and licenses for those operating systems though. If you had Win7 Professional or Ultimate you could use XP Mode (Microsoft's built in virtual machine).
