    Hi everyone,

    I have not really been able to find much differences between these to Canon cameras. On top of that a friend of mine has a 3 year old A1 that he says has only about 20 hours of use on the heads, wants to sell me his A1 with an Extra 8 hour battery, Wide Angle Lens, Canon 10W Video Light, and Canon Hardcase all for $2,000.

    Thoughts? Good Deal?

    Negotiating with a friend can have issues. Just hint you are tempted to hold out for a A1s. Maybe get more extras for the same price. The A1 is a fine camcorder.
