    Hello!
There are so many programs to choose!
I am looking for a program that lets me do simple editing to my videos taken with a Samsung TL210 digital camera.

I want to cut, maybe join videos. I remember I could do that with Virtualdub with the "stream copy" mode and process wouldn't take no more than 2 minutes. Is it possible with mp4 files?

I would also like to be able to use an option tu blur some parts of the video as to hide things I don't want people to watch. (or maybe bein able to cover that with basic shapes will do).

Just in case, these are mediainfo for two of my videos:

This is for a 480p video:
    Code:
    Format : MPEG-4
    Codec ID : MSNV
    File size : 132 MiB
    Duration : 4mn 58s

    Thanks a lot!

MP4 files are tricky to edit. Especially in Virtualdub. I would use MKVmerge to put the audio and video in an mkv container and then edit the MKV with Virtualdub. You can Direct Stream Copy or better yet use Smart Render (you'll need x264vfw, mkv plugin and aacacm installed) to save to an AVI container and then use MKVmerge to put into an mkv container or Yamb (or mp4box) to put in mp4 container.

    aacacm - http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/~fcchandler/AACACM/AACACM.zip

I would use avidemux. It works fine for most mp4s that I edit.

YAMB and mymp4boxgui also work just to cut. No video preview though.
