Pulse response IMHO is more important, and link lead me to one of most horrible examples of how bad can be lossy audio compression... sorry but i was not able to listen this for more than 15 seconds.

Sorry, I had meant 'like that' and not that track on YouTube.

Go-by-the-ear is the only way I know to check audio spectrum while buying speakers.

Haha no need to sorry, not your fault, i know why you recommend such music. Well - buying speakers is more tricky, first you not buying speakers to frequently, at second you not buying speakers in same way as you buying milk - to listen sound particular conditions are required and by definition single listening is not enough. Personally i prefer to select good brand especially that some brands over decades created own sound timbre and you may predict how speaker set good is - at worse it will be average - that's why you can compare a comparable speakers from few brands you like (nowadays it is more difficult due of globalization, owner change etc but still possible - there is few good and large brands and at least twice more smaller companies dedicated to decent speakers).
