DVD Flick Run-Time Error 13

ive been burning dvd's and using dvd flick for a few years now first time i got error 13 type mismatch, this occurred when trying to burn episodes of a series, i was able to burn a lot and then the error message came up for quite a few episodes when i looked at them on vlc player they worked fine. why did i get this errror message

Try rename the file names so they don't include any strange characters. Or try another easy all-in-one converter like avstodvd or freemake video converter.

thank-you i will try those programs. i'm still able to use dvd flick but not with these certain episodes.
