My Epson R220 has started having problems printing on to discs, about 70% of the discs print ok but the last part of the printing locks up and is all over the place is my printer gone or is this fixable?

    thanks.

May simply be an issue with the software ... uninstall all related software and drivers, reboot and reinstall ... retest ... if the result is the same it's likely the control panel in the printer is playing up.

  3. Carefully check the plastic carrier for worn spots and/or evidence of misfeeding. Looks to me like the tail end is slipping. If its the feed gears on the printer itself, or the rollers, you can try cleaning them, ink spatter can cause this kind of thing.

The other night i cleaned the runners and it still prints the same, so i'm coming to replace it with the Epson P50.
