MeGui: error in encoding: "x264.exe:unrecognized option --progress"

Hello everyone! I have an error "Standard error stream: C:\Program Files\megui\tools\x264\x264.exe: unrecognised option `--progress' "

I have found the same problem here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-200/help_please_megui_x_264_encoding_error-804872/ the solution was to update x264 codec, which I did to no avail. Removing --progress from the script is not an option. Can somebody help me please?

I had to go back to 0.3.1.1014 version because the latest ones did not open my .ts files, what I did in the end was that I used HDConverttoX. I like very much MEGui, though, because it uses AviSynth scripts that I find extremely useful. I will try to use later version and see what causes .ts files error in opening. I found a thread on the issue, and the only suggestion that worked was to use the older version. Hopefully, I will crack this!
